Rather than prepare all your food for the week on a single day, you may prefer to do a little food preparation every day. That’s what the breakfast ritual is for. You simply prepare all the cooking for the day in the morning. Since you have to prepare breakfast anyway, you can get a couple of meals going while you prep breakfast. As with the Sunday ritual, you should consider both best (finish work early) and worst case (have to work over to) scenarios act like a boy scout and “be prepared”.
Remember, though, skipping a meal isn’t the end of the world. Obsessive preparation can sometimes be just as bad as no preparation. The key is simply making healthier choices when confronted with an unexpected scheduling twist.
